Shout out to Joanna Donofrio
Earlier this summer, I had fun studio visit with the amazing ms. Joanna Donofrio, an east coast-based film maker who's working on a series of maker videos. When she invited me to be a part of her series, I was surprised and delighted. Getting over my shyness to share with you her beautiful work. Here's the teaser. Stay tuned for the full piece!
My perfect 24 hours in Grand Rapids on D*S, and other stories
I had the opportunity to share some of my favorite places in my hometown of Grand Rapids yesterday on Design Sponge. Read all about it here! Big thanks to all of the artists and craftspeople that are helping this city flourish creatively (parliament the boutique, have company, harbinger leather, and many many more). It makes me smile to see how this town is growing.
And thanks so much to brilliant Liz Fulton (music supervisor form High Maintenance) for the fun interview she just posted Greenpointers.com. It's all about how I met Adina Grigore, founder of SW Basics, and how we went about working together on her new book, Skin Cleanse, and making this animated trailer for it.. The interview was conducted at the SW workshop, before a tableful of ice cream pints and Founders beer. Still can't believe how many wonderful neighbors I have.
