As part of Mike Hambouz's annual Faces of Death tribute project, I created this portrait of Anne Hollander (born Oct. 16, 1930), iconic fashion historian and author of "Seeing Through Clothes," (1978) — a scholarly exploration of the link between of art and style. She liked to say that "The art of dressing is the art we all practice.” This beautiful, remarkably insightful woman passed away in July of this year.
