Hey friends! What a #@!*#* year. If you're looking to adopt a new mantra, then perhaps consider "VOTE." And it never hurts to have an aesthetically-pleasing reminder up on the wall to get you into your polling place. Just in time for the holidays/ special elections/ midterms/ smashing the patriarchy, I'm now selling my "Vote Vote Vote" print! This giclée print is printed with archival, pigment-based inks on heavy-weight, hot-pressed, archival paper in natural white, and available in a variety of sizes. A portion of sales will go to Emily's List, working to get more pro-choice, Democratic women elected to office.
Feb. 2: Postcard Write-In at Brooklyn Kitchen!
Bring your postcards, stamps, concerns, and friends, cuz we're having a postcard write- in! Join us next week Thursday, Feb. 2, at Brooklyn Kitchen for a marathon postcard-writing session to tell our representatives what's top of mind in our district. We'll also have local artist-designed postcards for sale with proceeds benefitting Planned Parenthood. If you have any writing anxiety, don't sweat it. You're not alone 😨 We'll have some talking points to help. AND we'll have a donation box for tampons and pads for a miracle bag program for the local food pantry. Consider donating some much needed supplies! Thanks to Kate Coats for organizing and The Brooklyn Kitchen for hosting!
