I love my friends at SW Basics! They're cute, they're funny, and they make seriously amazing, all-natural skincare (to which I'm kind of addicted). We just wrapped up this fun, little promo piece talking about what they do. Big thank you to my co-creative on the project, Chris Bruffee, animator extraordinaire. And thank you, Adina Grigore, for being a super-awesome human being.
I'm looking out the window at this cold and snowy day, not to excited that I have no coffee in the house. I have to put on the boots and venture out. But when I return with a big cup of coffee, I'm going to curl up with my just-delivered copy of Adina's book, Skin Cleanse! Here's a peak at one of the illustrations I did for it. This pretty much depicts the same sort of nutritious chaos that clutters my kitchen counter every day, so it didn't require a great stretch of the imagination.
2. My "Don't Forget to Water the Plants" print is now up for purchase here at Uncommon Goods. Big shout out to Katy Loeb, who was willing to hear out my obsession with domestic flora.
I feel lucky to get to work with good people and companies that have an interest in supporting artists and embrace their creativity.
Happy weekend, beautiful people! I am very excited to let you know that a project I worked on with the lovely Adina Grigore (founder of SWBasics) is now available for preorder on Amazon. I created about a dozen illustrations for the book, which is comprised of really great tips to get you thinking about holistic beauty and overall wellness, starting from the kitchen. Full Disclosure: I did not do that super cute cover illustration, but my compliments to the designer that did. Pick up a copy here if you're interested in learning more about it. It's a really fun read!
